Web Developer

Pixily.com, an early-stage seed-funded start-up is looking for a Jedi Rails programmer. And since we are a start-up, the definition of "programmer" is pretty open-ended, and it may not be restricted just to Rails either. The Jedi part, that we are sure about. What we are looking for:

• Strong fundamentals (MVC, data structures, etc.,)
• Experience in at least one production Rails application
• A working knowledge of Javascript, CSS and SQL. (Expertise in Javascript and CSS would be a big plus)
• Good spoken and written communication skills in English
• Ability to work in geographically distributed teams over IM and phone
• A "Pragmatic Programmer"
• A Smart Generalist (Competent in both depth and breadth of technologies)
